Gaspard is your graduation cap and gown supplier. We are a proudly Canadian company, passionately involved in protecting and preserving our environment. Our school has partnered with Gaspard in making a lasting positive impact on the environment by choosing to use high-quality rental gowns, which can be reused, rather than "one-use-only" souvenir gowns, which cause excess waste. The scholarship contest Gaspard has designed is therefore twofold: to thank you for "going green" with rental gowns from Gaspard and to inspire students to do their part in 'keeping Canada green' for generations to come.
The contest itself is truly one-of-a-kind. All of our 2015 grads are eligible and its very easy to enter - and to win! The contest is online and consists of 10 questions dealing with today's most critical environmental issues. The grand prize is $2500 for the graduate with the top score, however we will also be awarding ten $1000 scholarships nationally. Gaspard has not yet received any entries from Miles Macdonell Collegiate, however, being one of the largest high schools in the province, there is a lot of potential for one of our students to be a winner!
